Strategies

Several years of discussion and open—ended data collection have taught NCLN to focus on expressing and studying the many strategies each organization applies to its own case representation.  Strategies are not just strictly legal, but powered by human connections with clients, families, and other professionals.  Thus NCLN has defined a menu of strategies in multiple categories, including relationships, legal advocacy and action, and services and resources. Users will select key strategies they considered to be most successful and most important towards achieving their goals in client representation.  This is not multivariate statistical research, but thoughtful reflective analysis by professionals actually representing children. This menu of strategies can also aid in assembling procedure and training manuals for staff, volunteers and students.
